All the talk might be around whether Ronaldo will return back to Manchester united but he seems perfectly happy at Real Madrid currently. He has had a stellar month, even by his lofty standards. The former Manchester United No. 7 was rested by Carlo Ancelotti at the start of September before being part of the Madrid team that suffered a derby defeat against Atletico at the Santiago Bernabeu. That caused something of a mini-crisis but he finished the month on 10 La Liga goals, throwing in one assist and being compared to NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Real Madrid blogger Nicholas Rigg writes: "That rest has done the Portuguese forward the world of good, with 10 goals coming in just five matches and those strikes taking him to third in the list of Madrid's all-time league goal scorers with 188. They also saw him outscore 13 teams in La Liga so far this season and put him well on course to retain his Ballon d'Or trophy in January. A hat trick and a four-goal haul came within those five matches, taking his number of trebles struck for Madrid to 25, just three shy of Alfredo Di Stefano."
Ronaldo also bagged a goal in the Champions League in September and has been on the scoresheet for the previous six games in a row. "Even by Ronaldo's astronomical standards, September has been a superb month for the 29-year-old." adds Rigg.
For now, Cristiano Ronaldo is king at the Bernabeu, but the day looms when the Portuguese superstar will depart the Spanish capital.
